Um, so Prim is my favorite character out of ALL the different series. I mean, I know her mother is, well, special…but Prim takes it to a whole other level. I would really enjoy a random sub-series of the adventures of Prim. It wouldn’t be so great if she didn’t try so hard to be proper all the time.
There are so many great lines in this book, but I think what really just captures the spirit of Prim is, “Prim didn’t like guns, and she didn’t like to have to shoot them, but that didn’t stop her from being very, very good at it.”
There are so many moments from this book just going through my head, that I don’t think I could do it justice in a review. Really, any Gail Carriger book should just be read and enjoyed.
This book was really just a delight, and the ending made me wish the next one was out already. I’m not really a patient person, so until then, maybe I will just attempt to re-read Finishing School and Parasol Protectorate.
